Back again this year, we will be holding a series of workshops for you from 5 - 14 Dec 2017, 8 - 9.30pm!

There is something for everybody, so come on down and join us to open your perspective, explore movements, and build a better mind-body connection before letting yourself go for the festive season!

Improvisation

Get insight into the creation process of Guofeng's latest work, Insatiable and learn about the various scores and improvisation techniques that went into creating movement phrases. This 2-day workshop is recommended for people curious about choreography and improvisation.

Suitabe for all levels, no dance background is needed.

 

(Recommended to attend both days, but 1 day is allowed.)

Movement Phrase

(Advanced Beginner)

Learn a short movement phrase choreography, and find your own expression, while applying some basic contemporary dance techniques, as well as work on the connection and flow of your movements.

 

Some contemporary dance background is needed.

Floor Work

(Advanced Beginner)

Find release in your body and get comfortable with the floor. Explore various ways of interacting with the ground, working with and against gravity.

Partnering

(All Levels)

Learn some partnering basics on weight sharing, contact work, lifts, and coordination in movements between two bodies. You will learn a simple short dance routine at the end of the session.
